Prestige Brands has raised $250m through the issue of 6.375% senior notes due 1 March 2024.
Based in the US, Prestige Brands is a subsidiary of Prestige Brands Holdings. It is an independent provider of over-the-counter healthcare, household cleaning and personal care products.
Prestige Brands Holdings will use the proceeds to repay a portion of its loan, as well as associated fees and expenses.
The transaction is scheduled for completion on or before 21 March 2018.
Phlur has raised $6m in a Series A funding round led by Symrise. The latest round brings the total funding raised by Phlur to $12m.
Based in the US, Phlur is a producer and online retailer of fragrances, while Symrise is a fragrances and flavourings provider based in Germany.
The proceeds from the funding round are intended to expand its business, diversify its marketing activities, introduce new distribution channels and enter the bodycare segment.
Wildflower Marijuana has entered an agreement to acquire multiple California marijuana licenses in the City of Los Angeles and the ownership of a Pre-ICO operating dispensary and cultivation facility.
Wildflower will fund the consideration through a cash payment of $10.2m and issuance of 200,000 common shares.
The company will also raise $15m through a private placement of units.
The transaction will enable Wildflower to benefit from the licenses and the dispensary.
L’Oreal has completed the acquisition of ModiFace for an undisclosed sum.
L’Oreal is a cosmetics firm based in France, while ModiFace is a Canadian augmented reality and artificial intelligence brand for cosmetics.
As part of the transaction, ModiFace will join L’Oreal’s Digital Services Factory, which is a dedicated division engaged in the design and development of digital services.
The acquisition will enable L’Oreal to help its customers select products and brands through its enhanced beauty experience services.
