Augmented reality (AR) beauty platform Perfect365 is set to introduce a new white label solution.
With the new service, customers will be able to try on makeup products and hair dyes virtually on beauty brands’ websites, in-store mirror kiosks, and branded AR apps for mobile devices.
Users will also be able to access step-by-step tutorials for recreating the virtual looks in real-life.
A survey conducted by Perfect365 with Poshly has revealed that 78% of millennial and Generation Z women said they would be more likely to purchase makeup products if they could try them on virtually.
The firm’s new white label offering is expected to help beauty brands increase revenue.
Perfect365 is also set to unveil an advanced face detection technology that allows for the accurate and realistic virtual makeup placement on photos and video.
This technology achieves realistic-looking make-up as it is programmed to know where eyeshadow should be applied, how to contour the cheekbones, where to place eyeliner, and where to apply lashes.
Perfect365 Marketing director Cara Harbor said: “As AR continues to grow in the beauty retail space, we are excited to announce the launch of our white label programme so more brands can become involved and offer their customers a unique omni-channel digital experience.”
