Perfect Corp has unveiled a new range of artificial intelligence (AI) and augmented reality (AR) solutions designed to offer custom beauty recommendations to consumers.
Named Beauty AI, the range consists of makeup, skincare, hair, face attributes and beauty advisor solutions.
AI Makeup comes with facial recognition and machine learning to enable virtual try-on. The solution will analyse consumer preferences to recommend personalised products and looks.
The solution includes AI Foundation Shade Finder and virtual AI Beauty Advisor tools.
Perfect Corp improved camera lens in its AI Skincare solution to facilitate skin analysis and condition tracking such as oiliness, spots, hydration, wrinkles, dark circles, redness and textures.
Acne Spot Scan solution leverages AI to provide instant acne readings and product recommendations.
In addition, the Beauty AI range comprises AI Hair that offers live virtual hair colour effects with a combination of gradient, shine and colour effects.
AI Face Attributes uses deep learning to identify user’s facial attributes in a bid to allow brands to provide more custom beauty experience by gaining better insights into the consumers’ individual characteristics.
This solution includes AI Face Attributes Web and AI Face Scanner along with the 3D Face Mesh tracker used to detect the smart AI readings.
Furthermore, AI Beauty Advisor uses AI deep learning and AR technology for personalised recommendations that guide consumers to a tailored product list.
Perfect Corp will first reveal its new lineup at the 2020 Consumer Electronics Show (CES), which will be held from 7 January to 10 January in Las Vegas next year.
