Beauty applications developer Perfect Corporation has partnered with Amway to launch the Artistry Virtual Beauty App.
The app allows shoppers to access, test and purchase Amway’s Artistry skincare line, which includes more than 150 makeup stock-keeping units (SKU).
Perfect Corporation has integrated its artificial intelligence (AI) technology with Artistry’s skin assessment tool to offer personalised skincare recommendations to users based on their skin concerns.
To be first introduced in South Korea, the company has plans to launch the app in Japan, Thailand and the US later this year.
Perfect Corp CEO Alice Chang said: “We are thrilled to partner with Artistry to elevate their customer shopping journey by integrating YouCam technology to best serve their customer needs.
“YouCam’s augmented reality (AR) and AI innovations will help Artistry connect and engage with consumers in a faster, convenient, and more effective way, driving sales, and creating an all-together better customer shopping experience.”
Customers can download Artistry’s new app for free from the App Store and Google Play.
Artistry global beauty vice-president Kelli Templeton said: “The Artistry Virtual Beauty App is a fun and engaging way to bring an entirely new experience to how our Amway Business Owners try, share, and sell Artistry products.”
Founded in 1958, Artistry offers a range of skincare, makeup and holistic beauty solutions for women. Amway currently sells Artistry products through its business owners in more than 50 countries and territories worldwide.
