Beauty tech solutions firm Perfect Corp has entered into a partnership with celebrity makeup artist Jillian Dempsey for the launch of YouCam for Web AR try-on solution.
The company provides a virtual beauty app, named YouCam Makeup.
The YouCam for Web solution is expected to help indie beauty businesses by making use of artificial intelligence (AI) and augmented reality (AR) technologies.
It provides an economical self-service web plug-in to assist seamless integration of YouCam’s award-winning virtual beauty try-on technology across e-commerce platforms.
FYFE Beauty, launched by Dempsey, has become the first US-based indie beauty brand to integrate Perfect Corp’s new, YouCam for Web service, targeted toward bringing advanced beauty tech solutions to small and medium businesses.
According to Perfect Corp, the new self-service subscription service provides small and medium businesses access to the AI and AR beauty technology for their website, at a cost-effective price.

The YouCam for Web solution consists of turnkey virtual try-on web capacities for 100 makeup skus across lipstick, blush, eyeliner, and eyeshadow product categories. It also features the creation of a collection of compete beauty looks that can be used for virtual try on.
It offers website template designs for the iFrame module that can be integrated for fast set-up. The service also provides before and after split screen comparisons that generate a hyper-engaged interactive try-on web experience.
Amidst the Covid-19 pandemic, the company is offering the YouCam for Web solution complimentary to assist beauty brands adapt to a digital-first strategy.
