Menswear designer Joseph Abboud has introduced Black Linen, a new fragrance for men, in the US.
The fragrance comes in 3.4oz bottle and is priced at $65.
It is available at Men’s Wearhouse and Joseph Abboud stores across the country besides online at www.menswearhouse.com and www.josephabboud.com.
Abboud, who is chief creative director of Tailored Brands, said: "It’s a clean, airy scent with many textures. I wanted it to be reminiscent of my designs and bring confidence to men wearing it."
To create the fragrance, he worked closely with Tru Fragrance and Firmenich master perfumer Harry Fremont.
Black Linen has been inspired by the designer’s black linen tuxedo from his Spring 2016 Collection.
Freemont said: "Black Linen is a clean and distinct fragrance with textural facets that evolve over time.
"Grapefruit adds polished, masculine freshness, while clary sage captivates the senses with earthy, aromatic undertones. As the fragrance dries down, Haitian vetiver reveals smoky, woody warmth for an intriguing fragrance experience."
Abboud joined Tailored Brands as chief creative director in 2012.
With the purchase of clothing brand JA Holding Inc by Tailored Brands, Abboud was reunited with his namesake brand in 2013, then relaunched his label.
