Skincare products developer Brevena Laboratories has introduced a new serum to calm and soothe the skin, as well as address signs of ageing.
Named Night Renewal Serum, the new product consists of a high concentration of the company’s Macro B Complex ingredient, which is said to promote the skin’s healing response to damage and also provide hydration.
The serum also contains a combination of plant-based antioxidants and vitamins. Night Renewal Serum comes with beta carotene, liquorice root and niacinamide to diminish discolouration and tone irregularity.
In addition, the product has Goji berry, liquorice root and vitamin-E to plump and tighten skin, while delivering antioxidant protection against free radicals, said the company.
According to Brevena Laboratories, a recent consumer trial demonstrated a decrease in the appearance of dark spots in 90% of participants who used the new serum.
Also, 93% of participants had visibly plumped fine lines and wrinkles, 97% experienced calm and soothed skin and 94% said they would recommend the product to a friend.
In a statement, the company said: “Brevena’s line of skincare products is uniquely effective at addressing signs of ageing for people with ultra-sensitive skin, an admittedly challenging task.
“Thanks to the lines’ gentle yet effective formulations, millions of women are now able to improve the health and appearance of their skin without irritation.”
The company’s skincare range also includes overnight cream, hydration moisturiser, foot and heel repair cream, restorative skin balm, hand and cuticle therapy balm, and Gommage Crème.
